Once a pressing issue for the international community, the human rights atrocities against Buddhists in Tibet—a conflict that has spanned decades—have faded from the global spotlight. Despite the enduring struggle, the suppression of religious freedom, cultural identity, and political autonomy in the region has received diminishing attention from both media outlets and international policy-makers.

So, have things improved? What is going on there?
