Corruption is a greater evil than terrorism

On August 15, 2021, Hollie McKay was interviewed via Instagram Live by Jenna Lee Babin of SmartHER News. The interview from Mazar-i-Sharif, which had fallen to the Taliban the day before, broke the news to the world about how corruption led to the takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban; that the country’s leadership had sold out and agreed to “strategic surrender”. All the careful preparation and assistance by the United States and NATO to create a 300,000 strong Afghan National Army to stabilize the nation against 80,000 Taliban evaporated.
